How do I import DICOM files?
Open MedScan → tap "+" → choose source: Files app, iCloud, Google Drive, or AirDrop. MedScan supports .dcm files, ZIP archives, and DICOM CD folder structures.
My scan won't open.
Make sure the file is in DICOM format (.dcm). MedScan supports all standard transfer syntaxes. If the issue persists, contact us with the error message.
How do I restore my subscription?
Open MedScan → Settings → Restore Purchases. Your subscription will be restored automatically.
Is my patient data safe?
Yes. All DICOM processing happens locally on your device. No medical data is uploaded to any server. The AI feature (Pro) sends only the current slice image — never full studies or DICOM metadata.
Does MedScan support dental scans?
Yes. MedScan supports dental CBCT (CT), panoramic X-rays (PX), periapical images (IO), and cephalometric X-rays (DX) with appropriate measurement tools.
